I PUT THESE ON AND NEVER TOOK THEM OFF.

Mid calf western boots in a warm tan suède with a soft slouched shaft that gathers naturally at the ankle. The pull tabs, tapered toe and stacked block heel keep the western shape, while the low height means they sit under a midi dress or over slim jeans without cutting your leg in the wrong place. Early fall through winter, and the tone works with cream, camel, denim and black.

• Slouched shaft — Falls into soft folds instead of standing stiff, so the boot moves with you rather than gripping your calf.
• Two pull tabs — One at each side, so you step in and pull up without fighting the shaft.
• Stacked block heel — Height with a wide footprint, so brick, gravel and wet pavement are no problem.
• Tapered toe — Western shape without the sharp point, which keeps it wearable with everything.
• Mid calf height — Sits below the widest part of the calf, the most forgiving spot for most legs.
• Warm tan suède finish — A soft matte surface that catches the light rather than shining.
